OBJECTIVES: For the press reveal of its HCD 6 Roadster, at the annual Detroit Auto Show, Hyundai Motor America required an impressive theatrical presentation that would dramatically underscore the innovative design of the new non-production vehicle.
SOLUTIONS: The roadster was placed on a Turntable Works Standard Turntable and placed under a circular fabric veil boasting the name of the vehicle and the Hyundai logo in a step and repeat pattern. To increase the sense of mystery and excitement, smoke effects and confetti blasts were employed.
RESULTS: The press event was praised as being an impressive and powerful presentation of the HCD 6 to both the foreign and domestic press.
