Time Warner Cable - Retail Displays
OBJECTIVES: Time Warner Cable was promoting its combined cable, high-speed online, and digital telephone services at BestBuy stores. The consumer-oriented campaign called for numerous multi-purpose point-of-purchase retail displays that would fit into the agreed-upon space allotments.
SOLUTIONS: Each BestBuy location was provided with two premium retail displays. The wood constructed systems included graphic-wrapped cabinets with ample storage space, flat panel televisions, DVD players, sound equipment, and literature pockets. A bilingual sales presentation was featured on the audio-visual equipment. The graphics were easily replaceable as the messaging and pricing evolved.
RESULTS: The Time Warner Cable point-of-purchase marketing program was well received by corporate executives. However, the program is in its initial stages. Long-term results are still pending.
