Toyota Motors Sales - The All New Tundra
OBJECTIVES: Toyota Motor Sales USA decided to market its new Tundra truck at the 84 Lumber Classic and other high-profile events attended by members of the construction, agriculture, and recreation industries. The truck boasted an extended 228.7” length and the display would have to accommodate the greater than usual length.
SOLUTIONS: MDS Exhibits built a 20’ long platform using 2’ wide x 2” thick Birch plank wood. For manageability, the display was comprised of five separately built, 4’ x 10’ sections that bolted together. The plank wood was treated with a natural stain for a rustic appearance. In order to maximize visibility of the truck, the platform was set at 36” high. A railing system was created from aluminum and painted dark brown to provide safety for the numerous attendees and compliment the art direction of the display.
RESULTS: After the success of the initial events, the company commissioned a multi-city mobile marketing tour using the exhibit.
