Solar Cynergy, Inc.
OBJECTIVES: Solar Cynergy, a manufacturer of solar powered LED lights for night-time illumination of public, residential, and industrial spaces, requested a 10’ x 10’ booth to display thirty six of its lights, varying in size, from nine of the company’s product lines. Since the exhibit would be used exclusively indoors, solar power would not be an option. In addition, darkness was needed in order to fully reveal the vibrancy of Solar Cynergy lights.
SOLUTIONS: A flooring system and modular backwall was built with Solar Cynergy's lights hard-mounted into the display properties. To simulate real world applications, faux brick, grass, and asphalt with crosswalk-like markings were employed as top-surfaces. To provide shade and maximize the impact of the lights, a white canopy system was incorporated into the display, as well, show promoters agreed to turn off overhead flood-lights.
RESULTS: On its first trade-show appearance, Solar Cynergy’s exhibit proved to be the event’s single most popular attraction, delivering numerous visitors and generating praise for its eye-catching simulation of outdoor lighting situations.
